Did you know that chlorine can stain your teeth?
If your child is an avid swimmer, they may need their teeth cleaned more than twice a year. Now if we could keep our hair from turning green...

⚠️⚠️Be careful when jumping in the pool!⚠️⚠️
Injuries to teeth often happen when kids turn back towards the side of the pool or diving board after launch. This can result in the front teeth striking the edge. Kids that like to backflip in the water are also at greater risk of striking their teeth on the bottom of the pool.

Many cold summer treats are loaded with sugar.
Popsicles, ice cream, fruits and juices should be limited to help reduce the risk of cavities. Also, eat the treat all at once and avoid snacking/sipping all day long.

Not all movie snack are created equal!
Sticky and sour candies (Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, Twizzlers) cause more cavities than those that melt (M&Ms, Reese's, Junior Mints).
