Hydration is essential. Let’s talk about energy drinks and sports drinks.

Of course, the best source of hydration is water regarding your oral care. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The higher the sugar intake, the higher the risk associated with getting those pesky sugar bugs. Dr. Katie and Dr. Laura always suggest trying to avoid juices, sugary sports, and energy drinks.
IF your kiddo is going to drink juice, energy, or a sports drink then make sure they’re drinking water to flush any residue off your teeth and try to brush right away! 🧃🥤

3. Make sure to eat a balanced diet & try to avoid sticky, crunchy, and sugary foods 🥞🍭🍩🍪🍫🧁
4. Make sure to visit Dr. Katie & Dr. Laura for bi-annual checkups and professional cleanings to make sure those pearly whites are strong & healthy!

•Some safer, Dr. Katie and Dr. Laura approved candies for all the treats🎃 and no tricks 👻 are:
🍫- Chocolate- this melts and doesn’t stick around on your teeth and cause those pesky cavity bugs
🍬- Sugar- free- any candies that are sugar free are automatically better just because sugar is the enemy to our pearly whites
