Connect with colleagues in your specialty! Thousands of AARC members are actively involved in their specialty section - are you? For a nominal fee ($15-$20 each year), membership in one of the eight specialty sections (critical care transport, sleep, neonatal-pediatrics, education, leadership and management, diagnostics, adult acute care, and ambulatory and post-acute care) provides you with access to an online community, email communications, webinars, and in-person events, exclusive to your area of expertise. SOAR ACT INTRODUCTION -
RESPIRATORY CARE TRANSFORMATION BEGINS NOW

Senators Cassidy (R-LA), Warner (D-VA) and Klobuchar (D-MN) introduced the Supplemental Oxygen Access Reform (SOAR) Act - S 3821. The legislation is based on the 4 pillars of Medicare oxygen payment reform that the AARC has supported with many others in our broad coalition of patients, providers and the durable medical equipment (DME) industry. The SOAR Act creates a statutory service element to provide adequate reimbursement for respiratory therapists to ensure supplement oxygen patients have access to their expertise.

What happens next? We begin our advocacy efforts with the Senate by asking Senators to co-sponsor S 3821 the SOAR Act
