Individuals with CCTC had been participating in a Pen Pal Activity with some students from Carrollton Upper Elementary School and got to enjoy an end of the year party and met their pen pals. Students read a book to their pen pal and then gave them the book. They also worked on abstract art work together and enjoyed snacks before departing. We hope to continue participating in this activity for years to come. Thank You to CUES!

Susan's group has been working on recycled art projects for the past month. They have taken "reduce, reuse, recycle" to a new level with lots of laughter and learning.
They made:
butterflies from coathangers and solar lights,
Birdhouses with feeders on top from Folgers Coffee Containers, and
Plant pots from soup and vegetable cans

Carroll County Training Center individuals enjoyed a great day at McIntosh Park with lunch and petting zoo sponsored by ARC Carroll.

We all want to wish Bobbie Faulkner a Happy Retirement… filled with all the things she loves to do. She has been such a wonderful part of Carroll County Training Center for such a long time … it’s hard to say goodbye. Come visit soon, Bobbie!
