A couple of Texan elves stopped in to make this season’s CBD bath bombs. Ya know in Texas we do things big. Weighing in at over 7 oz each instead of the normal 4 oz, these bombs are no exception!

My artistic daughter came by and we poured a few candles and some Pumpkin Crunch wax melts just for the holidays.

Here’s a few of the cement pieces I have available. Will bring some of these out to the Moondance Artisan Fair next Sunday.

There are a variety of colors and styles, micas (that I hardly use in soaps), earth mineral pigments (I do use soaps), gold leafing… you get the picture. Each is unique, one of a kind.

Buddha Temple Candle
I’ve handcrafted twelve of these beautiful 9 oz cement candle containers. Each is poured by hand and unique in coloring. All are made with natural earth mineral clays, filled with soy wax blend and custom Temple scent blend and are topped with tigar’s eye mineral crystals for inner strength and emotional balance.

These cement containers are sealed and can be cleaned and refilled or repurposed.

For those who’ve been asking me for foody scents over the years, I will have a few Oatmeal Honey soaps (see pics below). These are all colored using herbal Infusions and mineral clays.

Please note, I did not make many. It will be first-come basis at the fair. So come in out and join us. Pick up some handcrafted natural skincare goodies for yourself, friends and family!

We’ve got an artisan fair coming up in early December. It will be cool enough here in Tejas for candles!!
I’ve started making candle containers, XL candle bowels, incense trays and even a couple of large Buddha planters.

Dragon’s Blood is restocked and ready to go! Additional soap restocks and moisturizer are on the way too!

I’m really digging these contemporary tribal Oakmoss soaps. They’re funky and cute. What do you think?

Oakmoss has been restocked ans will be ready in March 9th. Will post a picture with list of the delicious ingredients as soon as bars are cut and stamped.

Check out these wild and crazy huge square bar loofahs! It’s one of the craziest-looking soaps I’ve ever made!!

And so it begins. But no worries, by next week it will probably be in the 70s. 😋

Lavender Lemon - Available March 1st

This soap features hibiscus tea and puréed carrots.

Natural colorants: puréed carrots, hibiscus and zinc oxide.
Brewed dried hibiscus flowers and made the lye solution with the strained tea. I cannot say if the color will lighten or deepen. The hibiscus started out a nice deep brown during emulsification, even after carrot were added. But this morning I got this surprise. Gotta love chemistry! Will post updated pic in five weeks.

Scent blend: lemon and lavender essential oils. Such a simple and beautiful blend.

Organic oils, butters & herbs: calendula-infused olive oil, coconut oil, babassu oil, shea butter, safflower oil and castor oil.

Lavender Chamomile - Restock - Available March 1st.
This popular simple white soap features a whole lotta colloidal oatmeal, white kaolin clay and arrowroot for a soft and silky lather.

Scent Blend: lavender essential oil and lavender and chamomile fragrance oil combination (paraben/phthalate-free).

Natural colorants: colloidal oatmeal, white kaolin clay and arrowroot.

Organic oils, butters and herbs: calendula-infused olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, babassu oil, safflower oil and castor oil.

First soap bars are cut!

Meet Loki.
Natural colorants: Brazilian gold clay, annatto seed, Moroccan red clay, zinc oxide and charcoal. Crazy, right?

Scent: essential oil blend of sweet orange, dark patchouli and clary sage. You get the sweet top note of orange, herbaceous middle note of clary sage, with a smoky patchouli base.
It’s a calming unisex blend. Named it after our cat, Loki. 😂 She really likes this blend. Yhis in turn inspired the color choices.

Oils, butters and herbs: calendula-infused olive oil, coconut oil, babassu oil, shea butter, safflower oil and castor oil.

You never know 100% what you’ll get when using natural colorants, herbs and essential oils. The planned presentation was a gradient yellow/gold to black. But after my hand blender bit the dust during the first of three soaps, I was worn out from hand whisking 15 pounds and went with a drop swirl. Still happy with the colors. We’ll see how dark it goes with the dark patchouli essential oil. 😁

I’m ready for Spring!! How ‘bout you?

Now that we’ve established a consistent routine at home, I’ve started easing back into creating natural products. New year, new focus. For 2023 I’m focusing on the ingredients, herbal infusions, extracts, distillations, etc., for soaps and skincare.

I started with two small batches of herbal face soaps, Matcha Sea and Pink (shown below). These will be available in five more weeks. Both formulated to gently clean and help mature retain moisture.

Will restock the exfoliating sea salt acne face soap, Detox, next week. Yay!! I know some have been waiting for this one. Thank you for your patience.

Made two new natural soaps, Lemon Lavender, Sweet Orange, Patchouli & Clary Sage and restocked Lavender & Chamomile. Will have pics and ingredients after bars are cut.

*Matcha Sea features matcha green tea, sea clay, essential oils of frankincense, myrrh and lemon.

*Pink features gentle French pink and kaolin clay, essential oils of lavender, geranium and ylang ylang:

Oils and butters in both soaps: olive oil infused with horsetail, marshmallow root, hibiscus and licorice root; sweet almond oil infused with frankincense, coconut oil, castor oil, unrefined cocoa butter, unrefined shea butter and argan oil.

Prepping for three 5lb batches and putting my wonderful herbs and florals to use.
2023 will be full of skin-loving natural goodness!
