Our Bicycle Safety Class season only has a limited number of classes left this summer and on Saturday(August 1st), we have a class in North Long Beach that is accepting walk-ins. The class is FREE and everyone will receive a helmet and lights when they attend.

Great news! City of Carson was awarded $2.9 million dollars from the federal Highway Safety Improvement Program. Combined with other Capital Improvement projects, this funding will allow Carson to implement a majority of bike lanes in the adopted City of Carson Master Plan of Bikeways Project.

Bicycles and Walkers Count! Thank you to the Los Angeles Job Corps volunteers that gave up their Saturday to help Connecting Carson count bicyclists and pedestrians on Carson streets and sidewalks. The biking and walking count data will help us understand where people are walking and biking now, so we can develop a plan that will help us achieve our vision of walking in biking for the future of Carson.
