Matthew 14: 22

Grief is very real
We are Thankful for Heaven, we know we will see our loved ones again one day.

Jesus never promised everything in our Christian walk would be just right.

He did say we would have a lot of trouble in this world.

We find perfect peace and confidence in Jesus Christ.

Our lives are like a color radar.
In life we don’t always have alerts.
Each storm makes us stronger for the other storms that are sent our way.

If we are faithful in the storms it will be glorious in the end.

Focus on Him not your storm.

Life can feel like a ranging storm.
Lives change so fast.

Life often feels like we are being tossed around.

Do you often wonder where Jesus is during your storms?

You will understand why Jesus allowed you to go through the storms you’re going through or have gone through.

There are times in our lives we think Jesus has forgotten us.
You will have times of doubt.
Life can make us question God.

Read the book of Job.
He’s never late…..He’s always on time. He does it in His time not ours.

Jesus has the power over every element.

Jesus gave His life they didn’t take it.

How many times when we are trying to obey God people are trying to turn us against Him.

In our Christian life we need to wear blinders. We gotta keep our eyes on Jesus.

3 things you gotta know when the storms come
1)He is never far
He walks with us and is near to us in times of trouble.
2)Be willing to get out of the boat.
Only one Disciple’s trusted Jesus that was Peter.
3)When you do get out keep your eyes on Jesus.

It’s easy to follow Jesus when you’re up on the mountains.
Valley’s are important and make us grow.

Storms are scary you gotta keep your eyes on Jesus.

Keep your eyes on the prize.

If you take your eyes off of Christ your life will get off course.

You’ve gotta keep your eyes on Jesus.

We’ve got a race to run.

When you are in a storm read your Bible, pray and work for the Lord.

What’s keeping you from doing what God wants you to do?

God uses faith to strengthen family.

He will show up just in times
Step out and walk on the water and allow God to show you His Power.

To my Gateway Family. Please take a moment to read this carefully. This is very important.

I want to encourage you to bring someone with you tomorrow to our Worship services. Life Groups: 9:30; Morning Worship Service: 10:30. Your family can have your picture taken with Santa Clause at the end of the service. We will have a room set up in one of the children's rooms for pictures.

VERY IMPORTANT: I am opening up Gateway Church this morning at 10:00 so the Police and volunteers can have a place to get water, snacks and rest, as they continue to search for Cesar Harris, the 15 year old young man who has been missing for the past couple of days. You are welcome to come by the Church at any time. Please pray for the Harris family.

I don't know all the details about what will be taking place. I will keep you informed throughout the day. We believe that God can do the impossible. (Jeremiah 33:3). Be careful and stay safe today.

A Birth Announcement that changes everything.

Isaiah 9;6,7

When peace comes sudden destruction comes.

He was not just a normal baby.

Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, The everlasting Father, Prince Of Peace.

If you take away Jesus Christ from being boring into this world, there would be no Christmas.

He’s more than just a baby He’s a King…. our personal Savior.

1.The nature of this Child is supernatural.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given.”

2.The name of this Child is Significant.
“His name shall be called…”

3.The Nobility of this child is supreme.

This Child was Gentle
This Child was God
This Child was Given

The grave couldn’t hold Him.

Hebrews 4:15

God knows what we go through.

He walks with us and talks with us and knows how we feel.

Isaiah 7:14

Jesus He’s a gift, He’s the Son of God.

We’ve been set FREE because of the Cross and The Blood.
It’s all under the Blood.
“When I see the blood, I will pass over you”
Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the Sin of the world.

It’s about Jesus His Body and the Blood
This Do In Remembrance Of Me
1 Corinthians 11:23-30
Make your heart be clean with God
This is an allegiance and Declaration to Our Lord, We Recognize our blessings from the Lord.
Jesus died for our Sins not in His sins.
Jesus died on the cross for ALL of our Sins.
The sufficiency of His Death.
It’s because of Him I have eternal life.
He sacrificed Himself.
I order to take this meal you must be saved and born agains.
A=Admit you are a sinner
B=Believe Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins
C=Confess your sins
It’s not about us…
This meal is only for the Child of God.

If you are a Christian and you are not right with the Lord you shouldn’t take this meal.

It’s to come before a Holy God and pertake of this meal before Him.

We sit around the Table becuase of Jesus.

You are getting ready for a big supper in Heaven.

We won’t be serving the Lamb…He will be serving us.

One day we will be able to say Thank you Lord you are the reason we are in Heaven.

This is to satisfy the spiritual hunger.

Our Road Map To Life is JESUS… He is the one that will lead us to our forever Home in Glory Land.

Only God can heal the Broken💔

Matthew 23:25-26

First make sure that you are clean in the inside.
We do not like to be called a liar or a hypocrite.

It’s not what you look like on the outside it’s what you are on the inside.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one that knows our heart.

Integrity means being clean you have nothing to hide... you are same inwardly and outwardly.

A “Hypocrite” is more concerned about their reputation before others than they are their private relationship to God and their character before God.

Can you imagine someone not liking you?!
If that is more important than your walk with God then God has a problem with that.
If your more concerned with what man think than God then He has a problem with that.

1) What Jesus Saw
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites”

Jesus doesn’t want play actors, He wants people who live in his Character at all times.

Matthew 23: 5

We alt to love the Lord our God with all of our heart..

Jesus’s wants our hearts and our actions to be the same.
When our hearts are right we act right.

God is not against good living. However, good living becomes bad living when you try to use your good living to only look good on the outside for other’s sake.

He sees far more than what you and I see.

Any type of action or attitude that puts the spotlight on yourself instead of the Lord Jesus is wrong and false.

We are here because of who He is we ought to honor him.

Jesus will not accept any religious act that is not birthed out of a real relationship with Him.

How should we feel when God looks at us?
God blood can cleanse us.

1 Samuel 17:7
But the Lord looketh on the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7

2) What Jesus Rejected

“He make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter.”

If you are unclean and touch someone that’s clean they are now an unclean vessel.

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and savior?
If you are depending on your riches and your good works to get you to Heaven then you don’t know Jesus as your Lord and savior.

1 Corinthians 2:10-11

If you don’t have the Holy spirit of God you can’t relate to the things of God.

3) What Jesus Demanded

“Thou blind Pharisee, CLEANSE FIRST that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.”

You can not duplicate Gods Righteousness..

First get saved and let God live it through us.

God only accepts His Righteousness.

Work on the inside out... not the outside in..

God knows everything about us.

Don’t be afraid of what someone is going to say.. if you get saved we will rejoice and welcome you to the family of God. Don’t let satin beat you up.

We are gonna stand before God one day and when we do it’s you and him.. He knows everything about you.
