Cub Scout Pack 208
Cub Scout Pack 208 meets Thursdays, 7PM, at our charter organization, Christ The King Lutheran Church in Cary. We also camp ;)
The Pack creates fun, engaging activities that teach our young members how to be ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes.
Pack 208 joined area Scouts last night attending the Mudcats game and camping overnight. The Scouts got to run the bases and enjoy some play time in the outfield afterwards. Plus a great fireworks show! It was a great way to end our summer activities and get ready for the new Scout year.
Pack 208 had a great time at our campout! We hunted for fossils in Aurora, visited Dr Ben’s aquaculture facility where we leaned a lot and saw some cool snakes, and camped at Goose Creek State Park.
Congratulations to our 7 Scouts who earned their Arrow of Light rank and crossed over to Troop 208. We are so proud of your hard work and wish you the best as you continue your Scouting journey!
Pack 208 toured a fire station for our January Pack meeting. Special thanks to the firefighters from Station #9 who did a great job discussing fire safety, giving us a tour and answering a bunch of questions!
Pack 208 had a wonderful time hiking at Ravenrock State Park in Lillington. Check out some of these pics. Add some if you were there and if you missed this event, please try and join us for our next adventures
Thank you to the Scouts of Pack and Troop 208 and parents who participated in Scouting for Food last week. Thanks to the generous residents of the Irongate neighborhood, we delivered over 700 pounds of food to the Dorcas Ministries Food Pantry!
Pack 208 Webelos scouts preparing breakfast for supper. Scouts planned pancakes, chicken sausage, and scrambled eggs for their Cast Iron Chef adventure. Everything turned out great and they even did the dishes afterward!
Just another Thursday with Pack 208. Dr. Benjamin J. Reading, introduced the scouts to aquaculture of tilapia and striped bass!
Thinking about Cub Scouting? Check out these opportunities below. Each month Pack 208 is hosting a fun OUTDOOR activity. All children from rising kindergartener to fifth grade are welcome.
