Join us next Tuesday, June 18 at 630 PM as we try out the Cotton House Craft Brewers as a new monthly meeting location. If you are between 18 and 40 looking to make new friends while improving yourself and the community, please come check us out.

We can’t think of a nice way to put it, so we’re just going to say it. Our society is suffering from a loneliness epidemic. Interaction on Zoom, social media, or other virtual outlets do not provide the human interaction we need. Groups like the Jaycees provide a great way to make those connections. Even if it’s not us, we encourage you to check out other groups. Your mental health will thank you.

Grab a drink and/or dinner and chat with us. The food truck that night will be Bella Pasta and Pizza. See you there!

“🎉 The Cary Christmas Parade 2023 was a true success! 🎄✨ Overflowing with Christmas cheer, festive floats, and smiles that lit up the streets. 🌟❤️ Grateful for another year of spreading joy and creating cherished memories. Here’s to the magic of the season and the incredible community spirit🎅🎁

12/07/2023

The Cary Jaycees is aware of some concerns regarding participants in this year’s Cary Christmas Parade. As you may know, The Cary Jaycees, a subsidiary of JCI USA, is a non-profit organization that has no political or religious affiliation, therefor the events we host, and plan also run along those guidelines. Because the parade is a community event, we invite all those who would like to participate the opportunity to do so. We do not endorse or condone any political candidates who may be participating in our parade. Anyone who purchased a spot in the parade are all required to adhere to the rules and regulations of being streamed on the internet, and the laws that govern public decency and lewdness. Furthermore, the town of Cary Police Department will be on hand to ensure that the parade is safe for everyone including our diverse community members and any little one’s present.

We hope you have a wonderful time at the parade and enjoy a showcase of the diverse community of Cary.

We are pleased to announce that Connie Tator has been named the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade!

Here’s some information about Connie:

Connie moved to Cary with her husband after he retired from the military after 25 years of service. She has developed a love for the Cary community, and she represents the best in how a small business can make a huge impact on their town.

Connie is a vocal and active contributor of her time supporting the PTAs and Athletic Booster Clubs at both Panther Creek High School and Alston Ridge Elementary School. She has consistently supported the Apex Fun Run and helped raise money for the Alston Ridge playground upgrade.
