Established mental health practice seeking to add a full time member to our clinical team.

Due to an overwhelming demand for psychiatric services, our clinic is searching for a PMHNP to meet this need. The clinic hopes to find a warm and compassionate individual to take on clinical duties, including initial psychiatric evaluations and follow ups, within our group.

Our current providers focus on individualized patient care, centered on a building a long term relationship with each patient. We treat a wide scope of psychiatric illness in patients ages 18 and up.

The practice offers a furnished office; an EMR with remote access and controlled substance e-prescribing; full time office staff for scheduling, billing and administrative support. Insurance credentialing also provided. We are in-network with most large insurers and Medicare. Salary is competitive, with the option of health insurance included. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with shared on-call responsibilities. Typical schedule is 60 minutes for an initial evaluation and 30 minutes for follow up, with reasonable adjustment at the discretion of the provider.

We request that applicants have a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing with certification as an Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. A current valid NC state medical license and DEA licensure, as well as the ability to demonstrate understanding of a variety of models of mental illness and related issues and their treatment are also necessary. Experience with the use of EHRs is preferred.
