One of our favorite activities will be happening early Monday morning as we greet students walking through our parking lot on their way to school.
Pray for students beginning the new school year, especially those feeling uncertain, hesitant, insecure or fearful. Ask the Spirit for opportunities to care for students with tutoring, mentoring, counseling, family support and safe programs before and after school.
Remember in prayer teachers, classroom assistants, student teachers, counselors, coaches, school staff and school administrators. Ask the Spirit to sustain their enthusiasm and inspire their wisdom, creativity, patience and concern for students and their parents.

Our Story
Official Page for The Cary High School.
Cary High School traces its roots back to Frank Page. Mr. Page started private Cary Academy in 1870, on the same campus where Cary Performing Arts Center stands today. He later sold the school to the Jones Family, who then sold it to local citizens who were interested in education. On July 24, 1896, Cary High School was officially chartered as such, by the state of North Carolina. Cary High School, like Cary Academy, established a reputation for excellence in education and drew boarding students from across the state and from several other eastern states. In 1907, Cary High School became, if not the very first, one of the first public high schools in North Carolina, as the General Assembly set up such schools. Like the town, Cary High School continued to grow rapidly until 1960 when the school shifted up the road to its current spot on Walnut Street.
Today, we are still THE Cary High School because of our continued tradition of, not only educating young adults, but creating an atmosphere that is supportive, engaging and fun. We are proud to be a beacon of success and achievement in the town of Cary, North Carolina.
