Each year, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated reaffirms its dedication to eradicating sexual or domestic violence and providing unwavering support to those impacted by it.
Today we unite in our commitment to empower individuals to seek strength and healing. Sexual and violence knows no boundaries, affecting individuals across diverse backgrounds. It is incumbent upon us to shatter the silence, raise awareness, and extend our steadfast support.
If you or someone you know is experiencing sexual or domestic violence, you are not alone. There are many organizations that provide safety, healing, and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Let us persist in fostering dialogue and educating ourselves, striving toward a world where fear and violence have no place, and where every individual can live free from its grip.

March was Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, but if you are 45 or turning 45 anytime soon, it may be time for you to get screened. Testing guidelines recommend that most people start to get screened at age 45.
People with colorectal cancer may not experience signs or symptoms immediately, so it is important to get screened early.
If you notice any changes in your bowel habits, talk to your doctor
Signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer include:
Changes in bowel movements, such as diarrhea, constipation, or narrow stool shape, that lasts for more than a few days
Feeling of needing a bowel movement that is not relieved by having one
Bright red blood with a bowel movement
Darker-colored or black stool, which may indicate dried blood
Abdominal pain, aches, or cramps
Weakness and fatigue
Unexplained weight loss
Low red blood cell counts (anemia) due to blood loss
Some patients do not have any symptoms important to get tested!
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month! Did you know that Black/African American people with early onset colorectal cancer are more likely to be diagnosed younger and at a more advanced stage than are White people? Screening for colorectal cancer can help with early diagnosis and even prevent cancer from developing.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (Task Force) recommends that adults age 45 to 75 be screened for colorectal cancer.
