And many thanks for all the well wishes for my birthday, my 66th return around the Sun, oh my! It has been a great birthday week, and I am so very very grateful for all of you who reached out. The gift of having loving friends and family is truly the best gift there is.

I am really feeling the earthiness of this Virgo Full Moon. With the swiftness of events unfolding in life these days, being able to pause and feel grounded to this beautiful planet is the best medicine for me. Virgo does offer up this medicine of bringing spirit to matter, and I for one will partake as much as possible.

New Moon in Aquarius 2024

Aquarius energy is dominating the collective consciousness of humanity with this New Moon and a stellium of the personal planets transiting through Aquarius these next 2 weeks. The Moon, Mars, and Venus all transit Pluto, who entered Aquarius last month. This march of the personal planets with our outermost planet, Pluto, ushers in a highly creative force we can harness to expand our visions of a world free of the limitations of the greed/domination/etc. of the patriarchal paradigm humanity has lived under for centuries. This New Moon in Aquarius, the element of air, activates your unique genius to transform these limitations into freedom for yourself and all of humanity.

Aquarius, the sign of humanity/the collective, acts with revolutionary vs. reactionary behavior to these limitations of fear patterns, and guides us to break these patterns with the help of the personal planets mentioned above. As the old patterns bubble up from the unconscious for clearing, it can feel very uneasy/unnerving if we are not working to stay centered in what we love within our own hearts and the heart of the highest aspirations of our species. Self-compassion and compassion for others is the key to working through the rest of this month, if not for the rest of our lives. .

I am taking this opportunity of planting seeds during this New Moon to announce that I will be offering a year-long program in the study of astrology. The program will begin at the time of Spring Equinox, when the Sun enters Aries on March 19. Each month we will focus on the relevant Sun sign, looking at our natal charts to delve deeper into the significance of each sign and the houses and planets that reside in them. It will be designed for beginners, those who have never looked at a natal chart, to advanced students of astrology who long for a community to share their knowledge and love for this wonderful science that facilitates deeper understanding or ourselves, each other, and the cosmos we live in.

Here it is......BLESSED SOLSTICE, HAPPY YULE, MERRY HOLIDAYS, HAPPY HANUKKAH, HAPPY KWANZAA, BLESSED FULL MOON IN CANCER, AND JOYOUS SWEET BABY JESHUA'S BIRTHDAY (who was born an Essene, essentially a Pagan)!

All at once, these Holy Days, which began with Hanukkah and last through the end of 2023, are upon us, calling us to celebrate life/family/love/peace/forgiveness - all the highest and best that exists within the collective heart of humanity.

The commercialization of Christmas can be exhausting, and the holidays can be very difficult for those without a loving family or community to celebrate with. And there are our brothers and sisters around the planet who are living/dying through wars and other atrocities.

How to balance the essence of the highest with the horrors of the lowest in humanity? With gratitude for all the simplest of blessings, with loving all that we love, with expanding the heart and radiating this out into the collective consciousness. It is the most important practice any of us can do for each other.

I do so with tears of joy and compassion, holding both while feeling the unconditional love of the Source of All That Is.

Gene Key 36 - Compassion This week we meet Gene Key 36, whose highest purpose is to transform emotional turbulence into the Compassion. (March 13th – 18th)

Blessed IMBOLC, Feast of Saint Brigid, and Aquarius New Moon!

Potent, powerful, purifying, and pregnant with creative embodiment of your heart's desire! These are key words for this significant time today and the days ahead.

Imbolc is one of the four important ancient and solar Celtic festivals marking the midway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. It happens every February 1st and 2nd, coinciding with the Feast of Saint Brigid.

In Celtic Ireland, the Goddess Brigid is celebrated for breathing life/fire into the dead of winter, awakening the Earth and her creatures. From Kyle Gray's book, Keepers of the Light, "She was so well loved by the Celtic people that when Christianity came to Ireland she was adopted as a Saint of holy wells and other holy places. She is a powerful figure who can help us channel our energy into something that is important for our growth....You can call on her to bring her sacred flames to burn away anything that is not serving you, to bless any new projects, and for support with fertility."

Lastly there is the New Moon in Aquarius, the first new moon of the year, and in particular this new moon in 12 degrees of Aquarius speaks to leaving the past fully behind and stepping into the unknown future. It is conjunct Saturn and square Uranus, pitting our need for security/safety/predictability against our need to be authentic, independent and true to ourselves. I propose these 2 needs can alchemize and become the impetus for our evolution in consciousness.

This new moon is testing our resolve to move forward. All I can say is, these times seem to be one test after another, forcing humanity to grow up, pull back our blame and projections onto the "other", and hopefully prosper in peace. This decade is our final exam. Let's get this done for our children, grandchildren, and future generations!

Big Ass Full Moon in Gemini 2021

Crackle crackle, the energy sizzles at the full moon just 2 days before Solstice, and rather than try to calm it down, I'm just going with the flow, allowing and accepting and embracing what is. There is a whole lot of awakening potential here. Not trying, just being.

It wouldn't hurt to do some grounding though, lol. Drumming, chanting, dancing, whatever helps to feel the roots that connect is to our Mother Earth.

The Great Mystery is so..... mystical and mysterious.

This New Moon in Scorpio, at Samhain when the veil is so thin I can hear my ancestors and dearly departed ones clearly communicate their love and encouragement to continue on this path of transformation, to not be discouraged by the chaos/fear/confusion, and to keep the faith that not only will all be well, but ALL IS WELL already.

On this day I renew my higher purpose vows with deep gratitude to the Ancestors.

Happy Equinox!

We are here once more at the time of equinox, when the day/light and night/dark are equal and balanced. Today and the few days to come are key days to contemplate and explore the status of balance in our lives.

I ask myself: Am I too heavy or too light on the scales when it comes to my feminine and masculine energies? If out of balance, what do I need to do to create equilibrium? Do I feel love and compassion for both energies, drawing upon their higher frequencies to embrace their shadows and welcome them home to my heart?

Drum, sing, dance, and ground to Mother Earth. Expand awareness of being a living creature upon her as she flies through space circling the Sun on the day she blesses us with equal day and night.

This is what is happening now.

Pisces Full Moon Blessings to All

My Moon sign is Pisces, and so is my Sun. Since childhood I have never understood why I felt so different from others, and the irony is that I felt different and still do, because I feel at one, not different, from All That Is. Those of you who get this understand how crazy making it is to live in a world that insists we compare and contrast and live divided. Now more than ever this toxic programming runs rampant. But this dying paradigm of Patriarchy is in its death throes. I am trying to help it die, holding vigil and holding the vision of what we are becoming.

This is what many of us were born for. And we remember who we are. We know we are One.

That is ALL.

New Moon in Virgo 2021

This majestic heron is the perfect image to reflect upon what this moon symbolizes to me, the Priestess, standing strong and powerful in her connection to Earth, Water, Air, and Fire. She takes to the air when she chooses and stands on the water in the Sun when she chooses. She works her magic in plain sight, fishes for her nourishment, all in the magic of the now moment.

May we take in this moment on Earth, when much is changing in chaotic ways that may cause insecurity and instability, to reflect upon how like heron we don't need great massive legs to remain stable but we must be able to stand on our own with the reverence of a Priestess for the life she is given.

Today, between the hour of the Blue Moon in Aquarius and the hour the Sun moved into Virgo (the sign of the Priestess), I completed a 9 month Priestess Initiation process with 7 other wonderful initiates.

I have emerged today as an Empowered Solar Priestess in the lineage of the Great Goddesses Isis and Innana, as carried down from High Priestesses Nicole Christine and Melody LeBaron. I am humbled and deeply grateful to these infinitely giving beings. May I live up to the blessings of this lineage.

The world is that much richer with more Priestesses on board who are dedicated to embodying the Divine Feminine at a time when She is needed most. May we serve well.

I wish all ya'll some good mojo on this powerful Cancer New Moon day! Blessings to all as you continue to let go of that which no longer serves and embrace the life of your dreams.

I took this selfie last week when I was on the Outer Banks, on the north end of Roanoke Island, my most favorite spot on this Earth. It was sunset, and I could hear the tribal chanting and drumming coming from Waterside Theatre, the land you see in the background. What a moment of alignment for me, my body/mind/spirit activated in the NOW.

If nothing else, my dear ONES, take some time today to tap into the beautiful spirit of our planet, aka Gaia, Mother Earth, and hear the ancient heartbeat/drumbeat expanding out into space embracing Her Moon and all that the heart desires and loves!

HAPPY FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN SAGITTARIUS

Well.....this one is a doozy, and for me personally a very positive one. All the astrologers are talking about how powerful this full moon lunar eclipse is in terms of fully releasing what no longer serves and resetting to a more authentic and positive timeline.

I really feel this to be true for me, and it was brought home for me by way of activating my connection to the singing bowls once again. Last night I co-facilitated a chakra clearing process for a group of wonderful souls on zoom last night, and my part was playing the bowls and leading them in chanting the vowels for each chakra. It felt SO GOOD to be doing this again after over a year of quarantine!!!

I am so grateful for the vaccine against covid infection and that my quarantine pod is now all vaccinated, and I can go out in the world and LIVE AGAIN!

My chakras are all activated, balanced and cleared after last night's meeting and watch out world, here I come!

With the boost from this celestial event, may all you dear ones release what is no longer needed and embrace the happiness you deserve!

SCORPIO FULL MOON 2021

This has always been my favorite full moon of each year because it... ok and the Harvest moon in the Fall.... feel the most mystical to me. Like the veil between worlds is very thin.

I love this moon, no matter how intense, because something about it makes it easier for me to remember I am a spiritual being having a human experience. Hell to the yeah, I like that!

That's about all I have to say, except I wish all of you a full moon that beams upon you what you need.

Aries New Moon 2021

I hope wherever you are, this day is one when you can relax and reflect upon what needs to be released in your life in order to receive what you most need, without having to consciously know what that is.

Most of us know what stands in our way, what inner obstacles we grapple with that keep us feeling stuck. Simply vow to let it go, then open and allow and intend the good/healing/joy, etc., to move in and take the old junk's place.

As always, the Now moment is the only moment, and focusing on this truth, with the breath, with a smile on your face, with self-compassion, is more than enough. The Now is all there is.

Leo Full Moon Blessings!

Whew, does it feel like you've made it through the dark night yet? Or still in the tunnel with the light at the end calling you home? Most people are either or somewhere in between.

I feel like I can breathe again. Sleeping a bit better. What a long, 4-year nightmare it's been. As an American, I took much for granted, but no more! I will never again be bored with the grown ups talking about government policies and such. How wonderful it is to see this new administration, right off the bat, focusing on rescue and relief for all suffering in the time of covid, taking up racial equity, climate crisis, fair and balanced economics, and countless more improvements to this country. And it's only been a week!!!

Yes, the past admin created much drama/trauma and damage, and there is a long list of recovery work to do, but at least we now have a chance! I am so grateful, so very very grateful.

May we contemplate the balance of the Leo Full Moon/Aquarius Sun energies. The service to self vs. service to others polarity of Leo/Aquarius. Beginning with our own personal lives, how do we manage both in a balanced way? Where can we give more without sacrificing too much of the self? I for one will be focusing on this for the next couple of days as the Leo full moon shines down on out planet.

I must say again, it is so amazing to see the new administration focusing on serving the working people of this country instead of the rich elites. And they are doing it while explaining that no one wins unless the collective is lifted up. This is truly Aquarian. When the leaders (Leo the lion energies) work for the whole, we all prosper.
