Photography is not only great for capturing moments, it can capture memories.

Melanie’s husband passed away, suddenly, several years ago. When she told me of her idea to add him to their family photo, I was all for it.

The day of their session came and I met everyone at Mel’s home, where she gave me free reign of the property to set up and take photos.

I found the spot I wanted to use and gathered up the family, having no idea that it was the exact location that Marc had selected for their family photos in the image that Mel wanted to use for the photo of him. How cool…also, check out how many images we used to create the final print. Haha. 6 adults, 5 dogs, and 3 kiddos…I was impressed that it didn’t take more. 😜❤️❤️
