With every season, and this year especially, my seniors have been so full of LOVE. I’m noticing it in the initial emails, texts, calls, during photo sessions and well after. Amongst my “clients” (friends) and our communities of young women is a growing web of kindness and understanding. This is a new era of culture. Maggie is such a shining part of it all. There is so much love and gratitude involved in this shoot, and there is still even more to share ❣️

It’s as if a light calmness settled over the time spent doing these photos. The weather, family, and even the prairie seemed content to just celebrate the love on this day.

one reason I love photographing seniors is that it’s such a short lived period of time but holds so much significance. it’s a transitional phase filled with memories, goodbyes, and new beginnings. it goes by too fast especially looking back, years later. it’s a milestone that deserves to be documented. aaand I get to make really cool friends like too, with the cutest style and prettiest smiles🤍
