CSC alum Clayton Dobbins and his daughter, Cathy, visit campus. Clayton will celebrate his 99th birthday on August 13th. His late wife, Alice, was also an alum. Linda Redfern and Sharon Rickenbach, CSC alumni, are Clayton's nieces. Their mother, Helen Redfern, was his sister. What an absolute pleasure to welcome you all to campus.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Chadron State College graduate, has been chosen as the running mate for Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee for 2024.

Congratulations to CSC Alum Madyson Schliep! Many recent conversations with alumni have centered around the MS COIL building, specifically the pendulum. Here's a look at the "before construction" photo. The pendulum is no longer suspended from the ceiling, but it is still a part of the building and on display just outside of the Dr. Lois Veath Planetarium.
