Went to visit my grandma today. I put that poor women through alot during my addiction and she NEVER ONCE gave up on me. I know today she is crying & doing cartwheels at the same time knowing I have made it 5 years.
There's not a day that goes by I don't wish I would have been there with her the day she had that surgery and Jesus took her home. That was the worst news I could have ever got sitting in a jail cell. I felt so incredibly helpless. She was my bestfriend! And I couldn't even be there to say goodbye.
I love you Mammy. And I hope I make you proud, not just today... but everyday❤

5 years ago today I was in a very dark place in my life.
5 years ago I was drowning in my addiction.
5 years ago today I had a needle in my arm for the last time.
5 years ago today I was stripped of my freedom.
5 YEARS AGO, TODAY I GOT CLEAN & SOBER!

Let me take you back a little...
My life hasn't always been butterflies & rainbows. In fact it was quit the opposite! I was struggling with my mental health. I was struggling with who I was as a person.
I was battling a demon you know nothing about, unless you've walked in those shoes. And I just want to say for those of you that have, I am so beyond proud of you! Bc I know how hard it is. How sick you get. And all the emotions that run through you're head wondering if you should just end it.
I was literally killing myself! He**in was my drug of choice. Then I started doing all the other drugs under the sun when the he**in wasn't enough. There's many times I should have been dead. But I always came back.
I was committing crimes after crimes just to support my habit. And I've racked up a pretty extensive wrap sheet. At the time I didn't care to much about it. I just thought I'd keep getting away with it!
Until Sept 12, 2016... I remember waking up that morning to a bang on the door. When I looked out the window. My house was surrounded at every angle. I had no where to run or hide. So me being me. I hurried up and "got well", smoked my last cigarette and I opened the door. The officers all came running and grabbed me. I remember alot of yelling as they put my hand behind my back. I kept saying "haha yall are so funny, I'll be out in a few hours and your gonna have to catch me again"! Then they hit me with the line that broke me!
"I don't think so, your bail has been revoked"! 😳
I was at a lose for words. All I could think about was how sick I was going to be in the next few hours and days. And let me tell you. It was the worst experience of MY LIFE. Detoxing in a jail cell, laying on the cold floor bc I couldn't control the shakes of my body. The constant vomiting, the hallucinations. And I was alone. I've never been in jail longer than the booking holding cell for a few hours but now I was booked in, and this was about to get real, really fast!
I ended up spending the next 3 years of my life behind bars! Between FCJ and Muncy state prison. And I will tell you I had thoughts of getting high when I came home every single day! But when I finally came home Dec 6, 2019 I didn't touch any hard drugs. Until my best friend overdosed and lost her life in Feb. I started drinking, every single day for a week. I would get so drunk I'd black out and wake up and do it all again! I didn't make it to long. Within a few days I found myself back in a prison cell in Muncy State Prison, yet again! After that I went to a long term rehab. I came home April 16, 2020 and decided this time around I needed something different! I wanted something different for my life! And I did just that!
Today's marks 5 years I have been clean off he**in & crack co**in! And when I tell you I never saw my life without me being on some sort of mind altering substance. I NEVER thought I could do it. But I did! And I'm here to tell you that no matter where your at now. Don't doubt yourself, bc your stronger than what you give yourself credit for!
And I believe in you! If I can do it... you can too! And I will always be that shoulder to cry on for any & everyone who needs it.

I decided to laminate my brows today. What do ya think? Did I do a good job? Now they need tinted!
I did my lashes to but they didn't turn out the way I wanted to I'll wait 2 weeks and do it again amd use a different method next time. But they look OK for now 😃

Saturdays call for work in bed in some 90's vibe sweatpants🤣😁🙌 But all laughs aside... I'll never be able to put into words the gratitude I have for my home-based business! The flexibility to work around my schedule... time with my family... & wearing what I want... working from my bed if I want! It's changed my life, it's changed me as a person. Not only does it give me daily residual income BUT it's helped me build my confidence & let me meet some amazing people along the way🥰

Yall I literally came home an crashed haha I was so exhausted. My body deff is not used to getting up that early and working all day. But I think if I stay on a schedule even when I don't work I'll be ok.
But I'm going to watch a movie then his the hay.

I had a really good day at work but I will say I don't think I could have made it through without this stuff giving me all the clean energy bc it was ALOT! So I think if I just continue using my system and learning the ropes I'll be good to go bc overall it is a really fun job that I actually enjoy.
However it does take alot out of you so Thank God for my daily boost of energy haha 😄
