The North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center's annual Teen Adventure Weekend did not disappoint! Teen survivors learned to face their fears and ended their weekend climbing to the summit! It was such a powerful and inspiring weekend for all!

The Department of Surgery is delighted to announce that Jim Murphy, MHA will bring his 18 years of experience at UNC to the Department of Surgery as our next Associate Chair of Administration. Jim currently serves as ACA for the Department of Neurosurgery and UNC Health’s System Director for Specialty Programs. He will transition fully to the Department of Surgery over the next several months. Congratulations and welcome, Jim!
