Over Winter Break, keep it GOING!
The United States recently surpassed 50 million COVID-19 cases and 800,000 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
This week also marks the first anniversary of the first COVID-19 vaccination in the United States.
In recent weeks, COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations have increased, with many parts of the country experiencing substantial or high levels of community transmission.
These increases and the recent emergence of the Omicron variant highlight the importance of prevention strategies to help people stay safe and reduce the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.

A UTI is a bacterial infection of the urinary tract. Usually treated easily with antibiotics. Can happen to people of any age or gender. An untreated UTI can be more serious. So while they aren’t that big of a deal, they aren’t something to ignore, either.
Most common symptoms:
* Burning or painful sensation when you p*e
* Frequent urge to urinate.
* Feel like you can’t get that last drop of p*e out.
More serious symptoms:
* Pelvic pain
* Blood in your urine
* Fever
If you feel any of these, it’s a good idea to checked.
UTIs are more common in women because the urethra and a**s are closer together, but they can happen to anyone. Vaginal pe*******on by a p***s, finger, or s*x toy is often the way bacteria get introduced to the urinary tract and cause an infection.
Any kind of s*x, including oral s*x, can introduce bacteria into the urinary tract, which can lead to a UTI.
Tips:
* P*e after s*x. Urinating right after s*x can flush out any bacteria that got pushed into the urethra and help prevent a urinary tract infection.
* Shower before and/or after s*x. A quick shower before s*x—might help prevent UTIs by washing away the bacteria ahead of time. Hop back in after s*x to rinse off any new bacteria as well.
