We're on the lookout for vibrant individuals to join our team as Part-Time Popbar Team Members! If you're passionate about creating delicious experiences and providing top-notch customer service, we want to hear from you!

📅 Schedule: 2-4 days per week, including weekends (not every weekend required)

Craft and serve our scrumptious gelato, sorbet, and yogurt popsicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and guide customers through the Popbar experience.
Handle transactions with a smile and accuracy.
Keep the store inviting, clean, and organized.

Hey y'all! We are Clarence & Kia Lyons 👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏾
& let's not forget our little CEO Lena 😍!

It all started in conversation during one of our date nights while we were just a couple.
Fast forward to after we got married , I could NOT find a job here in Charlotte. I'd spent 5 years doing clinical research in Opthalmology on Macular Degeneration in Alabama. Finding something a similar career in Charlotte presented a lot of challenges. I literally only went on one interview 😅

I soon felt led to start our first business. I ran it past Clarence & it was a go! We soon started our journey to become Franchisees...
A slow go might I add 🐢🐢🐢

As first time Entrepreneurs we started from ground zero. Establishing an LLC, getting funded, and all the other steps in takes to getting the doors open took 2 years ‼️
It was hard (heck it's still hard) but we did it 💃🏾🕺🏾

8 years later, we now have 2 store fronts 🏪🏪 A POPTruck 🚛 & a POPCycle 🚲

You can enjoy the Popbar experience in our stores or you can book us for your corporate or catered event 🙌🏾
