Our Executive Chef has an infectious smile and energy that shows in his cooking and his passion for the restaurant. We can’t thank him enough for his hard work, dedication, and TALENT. 👑 CLT SINCE: 2016
🍴 INDUSTRY START: Starting as a server assistant at age 14, Chef Sam learned every station possible and was managing shifts by age 16. He was inspired to take this career path thanks to the chef he was working under at that time.
📝 COMPANY HISTORY: Chef Sam started as a Line Cook at our sister concept, , in 2018. In 2019, he moved into fine dining before returning to Haberdish in 2021 as a Kitchen Manager. Shortly after, he was promoted to Sous Chef and eventually Executive Chef. In the summer of 2023, Chef Sam moved down the street to become Executive Chef of Ever Andalo, and he’s been crushing it all the way!
👨🍳 FAVE EVER ANDALO DISH TO COOK: “I’m most personally connected to the Ricotta Gnocchi as it was the first dish I put on the menu. It’s simple and delicious. It’s a showcase of the cuisine in a nutshell, letting great ingredients and proper technique do the heavy lifting.”
🖥️ FUN FACT: “I have a burning love for computers and tech hardware. I’ve been learning about repairing electronics to keep them from landfills.”
