Now they have decided that their “quota” number is no longer 35 but 43 because the 2023 foals suddenly became adults on 1/1/2024. But what about the 5 horses that have died and 5 more missing this fall and winter during the bait trapping? This removal number should NOT be increased and the older horses need to be released now. In the Environmental Assessment it says no horses over 15 in the initial gather.
