Saturday, June 24 was a great day at the Gaston Farm for the 2023 Chester, SC . I met some very nice people and welcomed several wonderful friends that were able to visit. I’m very thankful for the many kind words, thoughtful questions and heartwarming appreciation of my rose technique.

A little bit of what I am working on with a large bit of something that was finished a long time ago. Here comes the last week of summer vacation and the beginning of my 24th year of teaching art. Also trying to decide how to properly celebrate a big birthday that is coming up at the end of the month. Recently went to the ocean for a few days and wondered again why I ever moved from Florida, because I could be at the beach anytime I wanted. It was mainly being afraid of being able to support myself. The moment I came home, my eye started twitching so I am hoping to go back to see the waves again asap. Or maybe I just want to run away from home forever 😭. /I can reply to most messages on here, but not all for some reason…

I like this little rose portrait of my grandmother.
I’d like to say “thank you” to everyone that has been visiting my art page! I really appreciate you stopping by. For those of you that have clicked “like” on my page, an even bigger Thank You!! I hope everyone is staying safe and strong. Spending lots of time at home and passing by my paintings more often will surely give me a little inspiration to get more done.

There is also a small touch of acrylic paint outside of the contour of the triple portrait. Through The Eye Of Art
Another work in progress, hopefully it will be done sooner rather than later. I was working on it more seriously in December of 2018, when my bubble was burst again or really just my heart. Recent inspiration to pick up the brush is thanks to
