Congratulations to incoming Hoos Juan Jose Torres Lara of Colombia and Maria Min of Canada who both won bronze in the team event at the WSF World Junior Championships in Houston. The two also played in the individual championships last week alongside two more incoming Cavaliers, Nathan Rosenzweig and Ewan Harris. Breaking News: Maria Moya and Meagan Best will return for another as grad students on the women's team, and Princeton grad Karim Elbarbary will join the men's team.
“We are poised to make the most of the final seasons with these postgrads. Our women’s team will benefit enormously from the skill and experience that Meagan Best and Maria Moya are going to bring back to the program. As our first graduate transfer, Karim will open a new recruiting pathway for our program. And he is truly the ideal figure to do so—as a person, a student, and an athlete. We cannot wait to bring him here to UVA and work with him to make his final year in the CSA a triumph.”

🏆 Max Velazquez wins the Molloy South Consolation Bracket at the CSA National Collegiate Individual Championships 🏆

Four Cavaliers are playing in Philly this weekend at the CSA National Collegiate Individual Championships. Meagan Best and Lina Tammam will both be in the Ramsay Cup while Clare Minnis and Maureen Foley will compete in B-Division Holleran Cup brackets.
Action begins on Friday with two rounds. Semifinals are on Saturday and finals are on Sunday
