The team seeks riders of any and all levels, from those who have never ridden to Grand Prix riders. Team members take hunt seat equitation lessons twice weekly at The Barracks, a privately owned barn in Charlottesville, and, once approved by an instructor, can free ride whenever they would like. Our next 4th year feature is our amazing Vice President Ainsley Tozier!
Ainsley is majoring in Spanish and minoring in biology!
After graduating, Ainsley will be taking a gap year, working as a medical assistant at a dermatology practice in Richmond, VA, before hopefully attending medical school in fall of 2024.

Ainsley’s favorite horse (or pony) is Rocket because “he’s literally the cutest, most perfect pony in the entire world.” Ainsley’s favorite VA Riding moment was going to the Sunset Series with the team during her first year. She went with one of the girls in her lesson, who honestly scared the sh** out of her, but, after romantically watching the sunset together, they decided to become roommates. Now, four years later, they still live together and she is Ainsley’s best friend at UVA. She can’t thank the the team enough for bringing them together

Our November Horse of the Month is Jump! Jump is an all around favorite and a truly special little mare. She’s a fun ride for everyone, and has an especially fun jump:) With her stunning looks and beautiful face she’s also a favorite for photoshoots.
At the beginning of this month Jump was especially amazing at our home IHSA show, stepping in as an alternate in an extra jump class and taking home top ribbons all show! We are so lucky to have this mare on the team🧡💙
