It was a pleasure connecting with all the bright students at Lee University's McNair-Ledford Undergraduate Research Symposium. Students from 17 different institutions showcased their research, sparked innovation and learned more about advancing their education.
We are proud to announce that Dr. Ethan Carver has been named the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School! His leadership has been key to advancing graduate education at UTC and weβre excited to see more progress in his new expanded role.

Founded by UTC alum Lindsey Sharpe, Camp Horizon, provides children with physical disabilities an opportunity to explore nature, build friendships and take on thrilling adventures β all in a supportive and inclusive environment.
For the UTC DPT and UTC Occupational Therapy student-volunteers, it's not just about helping β it's a valuable hands-on learning experience that makes a lasting impact πππ

Meet Mr. Gaither!
He recently pivoted his career, after corporate life wasnβt cutting it for him β and got his Masterβs of Education from UTC. Now heβs making a tangible and fulfilling impact on the community, teaching Economics and Government to high school seniors at Howard High School.
In his young teaching career, James Gaither has already earned some impressive awards:

Good News! The TN Hope Scholarship program has recently expanded and can now be used for graduate studies β¨
Qualifying students can use their remaining scholarship eligibility to pursue an advanced degree - making graduate studies even more accessible and affordable here at UTC π
Key details include:
πΉFunding: Up to $2,850 per semester for full-time graduate students.
πΉEligibility: Must begin graduate coursework immediately after completing your undergraduate degree.
πΉCredit Hours: Full scholarship requires enrollment in at least nine credit hours; partial scholarships available for fewer credits.
πΉDuration: Apply the scholarship for up to five years after high school graduation.
