WaterWays (@mywaterways) began as Caribbean SEA in 2004. Our mission is to empower kids to lead their communities in watershed stewardship and restoration.
Our goal is clean water for all through grassroots community action.
Great News!
The litter boom installed in the Choc River has been working. It was removed prior to the passage of Hurricane Beryl as per protocol and reinstalled immediately after Ministry of Infrastructure concluded cleanup works. The boom has been in place and held up well during the rains of subsequent tropical waves and Hurricane Ernesto.
See how clean the river is after the boom!
Clean River, Clean Sea.

Guess what is happening today?
Here is a hint.
⛺️
From starting off as a ripple doing smaller projects and initiatives to now making waves and accomplishing some of our biggest projects to date.
Want to thank all those that have supported us throughout the last 20yrs and we look forward to the next twenty plus years.
From then to now we have made some new waves. We are so excited to be where we are and couldn’t have done it without all the supporters along the way. As we embark on a new year we have some major achievements we are celebrating. Including yesterday’s signing of the MOU for a trash interceptor that will be installed later this month.
Stay tuned for all our activities coming up!

It all started in the Caribbean doing marine education and that is still a crucial part of what we do. But we also do so much more!
We love making an impact with the kids and community members.

“Why We Do What We Do”
In Collaboration with the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation and the Ministry of Sustainable Development WaterWays was happy to award three schools with an award towards their Science Fair projects. There was a special category focusing on creating a idea that would remove plastic waste from the environment. Congratulations to these students and we look forward to more innovative ideas to have a cleaner future.

Had such an awesome day out in the water for our first Snorkel Day! We can’t wait for next Saturday. Don’t forget there is still plenty of time to sign up for the 16th. Want to take a special moment as well to shoutout an amazing small owned company called Cobalt. We loved using their snorkel equipment and it worked great for the kids!

Had such a blast with everyone this past week in the rainforest and ending at the reef. Here is a glimpse of what we all got into during the week. From Singing for our suppers, bird watching, tie-dying shirts, exploring the river, and snorkeling with much more in between. A huge shoutout to those that came and assisted as well as those that allowed us to use there facilities. Grand Eden Estate was gorgeous and the kids learned so much. Thank you to the two forestry officers who the kids didn’t want to let them leave. None of it was possible without you!
