The City's Brush Site is open! Due to the storm last night, there are many trees down throughout town. City crews are working to clear branches from the street right of way. Residents are encouraged to haul their limbs to the brush site at 3361 S 359th St; however, if you are unable to haul your limbs to the brush site, you can pile your branches next to the curb (not in the street) and the maintenance department will pick them up. Branches piled at the curb, do need to be cut into manageable pieces that are small enough for one person to handle. Residents living outside the city, can purchase an annual brush site permit for $25 at City Hall, to utilize the site. Please call city hall at 542-3622, if you have any questions.
We love when patrons share their talents with the community here at YOUR public library!
