Colestown Cemetery Colestown Cemetery is a nonprofit cemetery nestled in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. It is the only remnant of the hamlet called Colestown, a small village founded in the late 1600's.

When Linda Cohen’s father died in 2006, she knew she wanted to do something to honor his life and the relationship she had with him. It came to her quickly, in the middle of the night; at that moment, she knew exactly what she needed to do.

Inspired by her Jewish faith, Linda set out to complete 1,000 random acts of kindness – in the Jewish faith known as mitzvahs.

She began documenting her mitzvahs on a blog, which provided the content for "1,000 Mitzvahs: How Small Acts of Kindness Can Heal, Inspire, and Change Your Life," a book that has inspired thousands of people to follow Linda's lead by making their corners of the world a little kinder.

Linda Cohen's book is the Remembering A Life Book Club nonfiction book of the month for June!

We are proud to announce The Gatehouse Mausoleum at Colestown Cemetery is coming soon. A close replica of the Historic Gatehouse, the mausoleum sits on a half an acre of sprawling lawn surrounded by beautiful manicured trees. Our counselors are available for appointments now and would gladly give you a tour.
