I refrain from posting about this topic. BUT it does need attention.
WHY do clients No Show appointments?!

We have so many ways to be contacted to let us know you will not be making your scheduled appointment.
We reserve this time just for you. We are ready and excited to do your hair. We love our job so much! Then…we wait & wait…

This impacts our business in so many ways. Financially of course. It is also our mood and vibe that gets thrown off.
We spend our days thinking about your appointment and how we can make you look amazing, reach your hair goals, make you feel beautiful and lift your spirits.

We sit there and now have a blank spot that could have been filled with someone who wants to be here. Someone who needs their hair done now.

That No Show just took money out of the stylist’s paycheck. Now she will be making less for the week. Less money for gas or groceries or any other bills they have.

That took money away from the business to operate. Now this blank appointment space doesn’t get the electricity paid for that time-dramatic maybe but also true.

We do have a No Show policy stated pretty much everywhere. We kindly ask for a 24 hour notice. We are forgiving of certain circumstances inside of that time frame as well. We usually give grace for a one time no show if this has never been an issue.
Policies are created for those who take advantage not for those who respect our time. It’s unfortunate that this industry goes through this time and time again still to this day…

No one deserves to be, essentially, ignored and lose pay for no reason. A simple call, DM, voicemail is 1000% appreciated.

Please be respectful. We try to be as prompt and accommodating as possible if one of us has to cancel as well. We are all human and we give grace.
