Ian joined Orangetheory as a founding member of OTF Sudbury 🇨🇦 in 2021. Despite undergoing a challenging surgery, he never gave up hope of returning to his favorite workout. Throughout his recovery, OTF Sudbury kept him connected and feeling like a valued part of the orange family. Meet Tanya, the dedicated ICU nurse tackling 12-hour shifts. Recognizing the importance of mental health amidst the grueling hours, she turns to OTF for rejuvenation and resilience.​

She says, "People make jokes about how Orangetheory can be ‘Orangetherapy.’ And for me, that rings true! Whether I’ve had a stressful shift or have a stretch of days off, you can find me at a studio for my mental reset. What you do in here, makes all the difference out there. Meera joined OTF Chesterfield in early 2022 to prepare for a summit attempt of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Almost 2 years later, she continues to elevate and push herself to live her best life.

“In 2022, my brother put in a bid to summit Mount Kilimanjaro and wanted me to accompany him - I had three months to whip myself into shape to climb the highest mountain in Africa. I had done a few hikes summiting Mount Bierstadt and Mount Elbert in Colorado, which are both over 14k feet. With the daunting ascent to the summit over 19,300ft over 8 days of hike looming ahead, I was looking for a place to transform my body and mind so I could not only withstand the physical challenge but also the mental one. That’s when I discovered OTF Chesterfield.

I loved the early morning classes which allowed me to keep doing my morning Mom duties and manage work while in training. Each session at OTF became a vital step towards building the strength, endurance, and mental resilience required for the climb. Our successful summit of Kilimanjaro was life changing, and I have Orangetheory Fitness thank for getting me ready.

To date, I have logged 225 classes in the course of 17 months. Each class and challenge has served as a building block - fortifying my strength as I prepare for my next challenge: reaching Everest Base Camp. The expertise and encouragement from the staff and coaches at OTF Chesterfield has transformed my fitness journey. Thank you for pushing me to reach new heights (literally)!
