🔸️ ATTENTION: APPALACHIAN TRAIL DOG OWNERS & HIKERS 🔸️

Over the weekend, it was reported that a hiker found dog treats stuffed with fishhooks near the George W. Outerbridge shelter on the Appalachian Trail.

The incident occurred near the North Trail Loop leading to the shelter, on State Game Lands #217, in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

Items like these could prove deadly to any animal that consumes them, including wild and domesticated animals.

If anyone has any information about the incident or locates more findings, please call 1-833-PGC-WILD or 1-833-PGC-HUNT immediately.

The parents of these guys passed away, it’s a very sad story.
Then they were Adopted together but returned due to their other very young dog not getting along w/ one of them.

Meet Rusty and Hank! 💛🖤 They ended up at the shelter after their human parents passed away and their world was turned upside down. They are a bonded pair and will only be adopted out together. They will not be separated. Do you have room in your heart and home for these 2 beautiful boys?

💛 Rusty is the yellow dog. He is 11 years young. He knows basic commands and walks well on leash. 🐾 He is laid back and just goes with the flow.

You can get some ugly but tasty Arkansas black, red delicious (which are actually tasty this year) maaaaaybe a granny or two and some other varieties like Rome and fall gala still have some. We are at $1.00 per pound now because they are “ugly”!
