Looks like we are in for rain.
13/3AM: Greetings! Showers and thunderstorms look to become widespread again this afternoon through the evening hours. Some of these storms will create heavy rainfall and the possibility of flash flooding. Especially where storms move over the same area (training storms). A Marginal Risk for excessive rainfall has been identified along the Interstate 80 corridor from Sidney to Rawlins as well as Interstate 25 north to Wheatland. Be flood aware today, never drive through flooded roadways, they might be washed out. If encountering flooded roads, turn around, don't drown!
Prepare to head back to school with some light summer reading. Time to pull out your car seat and booster seat manuals. Your child may have had a summer growth spurt, so this is a great time to make sure everything is adjusted correctly.

π§ There is a marginal risk for excessive rainfall over much of the area on Monday and Tuesday as monsoon moisture returns to the region. The areas in green represent where heavy rain and excessive rainfall could lead to increased chances for flash flooding. Expect scattered to numerous storms across southeast Wyoming and western Nebraska on Monday. These storms will begin early in the afternoon and could continue into the overnight hours. On Tuesday, expected another round of scattered convection, but will less coverage of storms. There is also a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms for portions of the area on both days.
5AM 8/11 - While it is uncertain if thunderstorms will manage to develop today, any isolated storms that do develop will have the potential to become strong to severe. This will be a relatively early threat, mainly between 12PM and 6PM.
