Friends of Beard is now accepting donations for Staff Appreciation Week. Let’s show the great teachers, paras, therapists and all staff how much we appreciate them! Staff Appreciation Week begins 5/7/18. You can make a tax deductible donation by going to www.friendsofbeard.org or clicking on the donate button on our FB page. You can also leave money in office or send envelope in your child’s backpack. Please indicate that donation is for Staff Appreciation. Any unused funds will go towards other activities for kids and FOB operating costs. Thanks!!!!

Hi Everyone: You can now earn money for Beard School and help save the environment! Beard now has a Midwest Paper Retriever Bin. Bring all your recyclable paper and clean cardboard to Beard. We will take all your old newspapers, magazines, catalogs, boxes and even junk mail. Please make sure that if you're bringing cardboard boxes, you flatten them out first to conserve space in the bin. Look for the yellow and green bin in the Beard School parking lot near the Natchez street entrance.Thanks!!!

Friends of Beard's last fundraising event is also our sweetest! Please join us at Josi's Frozen Yogurt at 4032 N Milwaukee between 6/16/16 11am-9pm. Mention "Beard" when ordering and Josi's will donate 20% of proceeds to Friends of Beard. Josi's is an Autism Friendly Location(AFL) and features gluten free items on their menu. They also now serve PIZZA!!!!
