Quebecois post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor emerged on the scene back in 1994 and simultaneously introduced a new era of protest music, steadily releasing albums for the past thirty years that have defined the genre whilst maintaining their political edge. We are certain you've heard it, whether you know it or not: Back on 74, neo-soul band Jungle's smash hit that has soundtracked the past year, and rightfully so. Their discography is filled with groovy tunes and hits you simply can't help but dance to, and we'll be dancing with them at their Lollapalooza after show at the Salt Shed on August 2!

English songwriter and producer Labrinth has had a busy past few years, composing the music for the smash HBO hit Euphoria, producing a song for the one and only Beyonce, and of course, focusing on his own music: most recently his 2023 album, Ends & Begins. Knocked Loose and the rest of the bands tore the roof off the place. We actually saw it tumbling down Elston earlier this morning. What a wild show!

The SummerSalt Market is officially happening THIS Sunday (from 12p - 5p), and the good news is - this might be our most diverse offering yet! Vintage clothing, records (a lot of vinyl for you crate diggers!), home goods, DJ sets, and something new this year, Dog Adoption from Alive Rescue. Yes, you read that right. There will be dogs.

We know the weather is looking a bit worrisome for Sunday, but the good news is: we have a large and architecturally stunning indoor venue to take the party inside if it rains! This event is truly rain or shine.
