As many of you already know, I had to make the tough decision earlier in the month to cancel the ACCA Conference in Cedar Rapids IA. Though I reached out to everyone individually, I have not posted the cancellation publicly. With only 5 registrants, but a great lineup of confirmed speakers it just didn't make sense to continue. The common issue was the expense to fly into Cedar Rapids.

We are revamping the ACCA Conference into a new event that we will announce in the next couple of weeks. I dropped the ball in keeping some up to date and I apologized to those affected. Every speaker and attendee has been either reimbursed or refunded as of today. If I overlooked anyone please reach out to me directly at [email protected].

I did my very best to try to convince people to attend, but in the end I couldn't do it. I am looking forward to brining another amazing event to the LGBTQ+ welcoming people of Cedar Rapids IA in the coming months, they deserve it.
