Collaboraction Studios, in the Flat Iron Arts Building of Wicker Park, has affordable space available for nightly, weekly, or monthly rentals in The Salon beginning in March 2017. This intimate, 50-seat performance space is perfect for stand-up, improv, small theater productions, poetry slams, open mics, film screenings, and more. We are open to resident companies and are especially interested in groups that align with Collaboraction's mission to explore critical social issues with a diverse community of Chicagoans.

Come see Justin Michael Dietzel's world premiere play, "Hope Wanted," about the realities of homelessness. The work is presented this weekend by The (Beat) Theatre Collective and will appear in The Vault at Collaboraction Studios in the Flatiron Arts Building.

Next week is inauguration and Aaron Harris Woodstein is bringing his brand new musical, "The Fires of Nero: A Protest Piece" to The Vault at Collaboraction Studios in the Flatiron Arts Building.

The Fires of Nero: A Protest Piece The Reign of Donald Trump is upon us. In a new Dark Comedy / Musical, Emperor Nero uses his power to seek everything that he desires.

Collaboraction is accepting submissions from female performers for solo shows, stand up, improv, music, and theatre performances in the Gender Breakdown Lounge (The GBL) in The Pentagon at Collaboraction Studios in Feb. and March for door-split revenue sharing. Gender Breakdown is Collaboraction's world premiere devised theatre piece in response to the lack of gender equity in theatre and beyond and we are looking for complementary programming in The GBL.
