An early morning fire for 3rd shift in the 2900 block of east 82nd St. Eventually a 2-11 fire.
E126, E46, T49 and T17 arrived to find 2 homes with heavy fire and fire spreading to a 3rd building. All members worked hard to ensure there were no occupants in the building and preserve property.

Our deepest condolences to the Roche family. Ed was an amazing man and a friend to many who will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace brother.

These images of T17 were caught by a bystander at an incident along 95th street yesterday.
While we don't know the cause, this seems like a good opportunity to remind everyone to wear your seat belts and keep distractions put away until parked.

Some camaraderie and breakfast with past/present fellas of E46/T17…good laughs, great stories, and lots of knowledge. Always great to get together and see many of our retired Members 🚒👍🏻😀🥞🥓🧇

3rd shift had an early morning fire today in the 8100 block of Brandon.
Crews worked hard for sometime to get the fire under control.
1 firefighter sustained injuries and was transported in good condition to an area hospital.

2/11/24, The fire in the 7800 block of South Shore Dr. E46 and T17 responded and worked with members of the 23rd battalion to rescue several people and extinguish what became a 2-11 fire.
