Established in 2020, the 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 gives back to the brave men and women who have served the United States by offering educational funding to pursue a new career in the dynamic commercial real estate industry.

We celebrate their achievements and look forward to sharing their progress towards the CCIM Designation!

Stock Gifts: Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide better tax benefits than giving cash. Consider Bunching Your Gifts to a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF): To receive a tax deduction for gifts to charity, donors need to itemize the deductions on their tax return. For most taxpayers, the standard deduction exceeds their itemized deductions. But “bunching” may help push itemized deductions above the standard deduction threshold, which is beneficial if you have unusually high income or gains this year.

Established in 2022, The CCIM Institute Foundation Diversity Scholarship Program helps foster an inclusive commercial real estate professional community.

The CCIM Institute Foundation is excited to participate in 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, a global generosity movement happening today, November 28th.

To kick off the Giving Season, we asked 2022 Diversity Scholarship recipient, Daynon Kirby, CCIM, why CCIM Designees should support our scholarships.
