Instruction in Sport Fencing in Foil & Saber from Beginners to Elite competitors. We offer classes and lessons from ages 7 and above.
We are a long-term development club based on the simple idea that having fun leads to better learning. Lots of games, physical activities and stealthy strength training to help each athlete become the best they can be. Group lessons lead to private lessons and then to competitions. Our focus is on developing a whole person, not just a "fencer".
Join us this weekend at Andersonville Midsommarfest - June 9th - 11th! Lincoln Square Fencing will answer your questions about the sport and do some demos for you! Stop by -- and if you sign up for a free trial class, you get a chance to spin the wheel of fortune for a prize!

Midsommarfest - andersonville Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) is pleased to announce the return of Andersonville Midsommarfest, one of Chicago’s oldest and most beloved summer street festivals. Now in its 56th year, the annual festival will be held June 10 ....
We are excited to announce the Pre-Season Camp with Future Champions Camp! August 7-11 at Lincoln Square Fencing!
We will be joined by Junior National Coach Marco Russo, 2x Olympian Rosella Gregorio (currently ranked 11th and 4th in Team), Junior National Team member Lapo Pucci and Conditioning Coach Violetta Piergiacomi!
The camp will focus on preparation of physical and mental skills for the upcoming season! We will also discuss goal setting and planning training sessions to set yourself up for success!

We are very excited to announce a partnership with Future Champions Camp of Italy for a weeklong preseason training camp, Aug 7-11! We both believe very strongly in preparing the athlete not only in the fencing-specific skills, but also their physical and mental skills. This camp will get fencers off to an accelerated start for the upcoming season - join us for this rare training opportunity. More info soon!

Congrats to our athletes who competed this past weekend at the Windy City ROC / RJCC in Northbrook, IL. Oscar Brown, William Beck, Jack Henderson, Hunter Barrows, Emmitt Paradis, and Oscar Narut competed in the various Men's Saber events (Div 1A, Junior, Cadet), facing stiff competition and had a good time competing and cheering each other on!
From the women's side, several medal finishes! Congrats to: Ellie Newmark for 3rd place finishes in both Juniors and Cadet; MaeBelle Bushman for a 5th place finish in Div 1 A, and an 8th place finish in Juniors; Mads McCawley for a 6th place finish in Cadet; and Chloe Madden for and 8th place finish in her first competition!
Last night, Lincoln Square Fencing paired up with OrangeTheory Lincoln Square for a beginner adult class! These four had never tried fencing before, but had an amazing time...and what a workout!
Do you have a group that would like to try fencing? Adult classes are Tuesdays and Thursday nights 7:30 - 9:00 pm -- no experience necessary and all equipment is provided! We are also available for private parties, schedule permitting.
Congratulations to our fierce LSF competitors MaeBelle Bushman, Theo Huston, and Jack Henderson who competed last weekend at the April NAC in St. Louis. Facing Nationally ranked fencers from across the USA, they stayed tough and had fun too! (Special guest appearance from a few of the members of the Mom Squad!)

Congrats to Oscar Brown on his Silver on the Div 2 qualifier! Oscar Narut qualified in Div 3 and Y-14! Joining him in Y-14 is Ben Rivera! On the women's side, Sophie Wilson and MaeBelle Bushman qualified for Div 3 and Anne-Marie returned to competition for the first time in many years! Well done, everyone!

SUMMER CAMP SIGN-UP TIME! Summer Camp is open to everyone ages 7-18! No experience or equipment necessary! Camps are half-day, weeklong sessions and begin July 10th and run through August 11th. Each camp session will teach the sport from the basics to the advanced concepts while including lots of summer fun!

Exciting day for Theo Huston and Lincoln Square Fencing! Theo was awarded a scholarship to Wagner College in NY to join their NCAA Division 1 Fencing Team. Today was the official signing at his high school, Roycemore School! Congrats to Theo, his family, and Coach Clint Smith for the years of hard work and commitment to get to this accomplishment.
