Here is a non-exhaustive list of ways to support your colleagues who happen to be women in the workplace. It was written from one woman's perspective:

Encourage the sharing of insights. Did you notice someone has not provided input yet in a discussion? Ask this person for insight in a way the person would feel comfortable sharing.
โ
Learn about what's important. People have various goals in life and in their careers that may be different from yours.
โ
Ask. Don't assume. If you aren't sure how to approach a situation such as introducing a colleague to a project team, feel free to ask.
โ
Fully recognize contributions. If someone is truly leading an initiative, recognize it as such. Similarly, if someone's contributions were critical to the team's success, recognize it as such. Share credit and thank people authentically.
