The Burr Block Party is a great way to celebrate the beginning of the year by reconnecting with friends, meeting new people, and being a part of our awesome community! Bring your popsicle money! The 8th graders will be selling icy treats at the Marshfield exit doors and on the playground. Proceeds go to the 2025 trip to Washington DC

Tomorrow is the Ice Cream Social! We are hosting Burr Families from 2:00-3:30 on Wednesday, August 21st! ! School supplies can be dropped off in your child’s classroom between 2:00-2:30 and there is a Scholastic Book Fair in the auditorium as well! Don’t forget to come by the Burr Gear and Booster Table and stock up!

Who doesn’t love a summer festival, especially one hosted by our 2025 Burr 8th Grade DC Trip Fundraising Group?

The Kids Fest has something for all ages completely hosted and organized by Burr’s own families! In addition to the great entertainment, fun kids activity booths with amazing vendors and concessions, this is a really great way to get to know the Burr community, so spread the word! We hope to see all our Burr Families!

Fun for all ages! There will be amazing free & ticketed activities including…

bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, carnival games, hair streaking, concessions, balloon animals and more!

ALL Proceeds go to 2024 8th Grade DC Trip!

Interested in volunteering to help us out? Please see the sign up below. Middle School Students who volunteer will earn service hours and rising 8th graders can earn hours towards their DC Fundraising goal. We need your help! We’d love parents of primary students to help us out too if you can! This is a HUGE event for Burr and we need all the help we can get!

Congrats to this amazing group of 8th graders! We wish them all the best next year as freshmen, and we hope they carry the special bond they’ve made with their peers at Burr always. We will miss all of them!

Congrats to our 5th/6th grade girls soccer team on a great season! They worked hard and had a great time. Let’s go Bulldogs!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made this event a success!! And an especially big THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers and Burr Staff who made this possible. It was a fabulous time!!

Just a reminder that the second annual AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) night is on Wednesdays, May 15th from 4:00-5:30 pm. This is a FREE event for ALL students and their families. There will be several food samples, demonstrations, and contests during the event. We encourage all students and families to attend this engaging and informative night to celebrate the diverse Asian culture represented at Burr Elementary.

Congrats to our winning bidders Friday night (and tonight), there were a lot of you!
