to an amazing moment when our talented students took their music across the globe! 🎻 In October 2018, the teens of Chicago West Community Music Center performed in Paris, France, as part of a special colloquium at the University of Chicago Paris.
Our young musicians showcased their skills on an international stage, proving that Chicago’s cultural influence knows no bounds. From Garfield Park to the City of Lights, their journey continues to inspire us all!

Join the Berklee Music Initiative at the Chicago West Community Music Center! Located at 100 N. Central Park Ave., Chicago, IL, this 10-week after-school program for high school students runs 3 times a year.
Students will learn music theory from Berklee’s College curriculum and will be offered quality music instruction, mentoring, and college scholarships to students at City Music Network sites. Each session concludes with a spectacular culminating event!
