OT students continually exceed expectations. Last week was no exception, as they approached each day with infectious energy and passion, exploring topics like table etiquette, diabetes awareness, infection control, community safety role-play, and exercise groups. Studies have shown that morning exercise can help lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and decrease anxiety symptoms. Additionally, working out in the morning helps to improve cognitive function by stimulating brain activity. It enhances alertness and concentration, increasing productivity throughout your day.

🌟 Spotlight on Success: Otis at MBIC 🌟
In the heart of MBIC's bustling kitchen, Otis is not just participating in daily culinary activities; he's mastering crucial life skills and enhancing his independence. Our program, designed for adults with brain injuries, emphasizes occupational therapy through practical, enjoyable activities that restore confidence and foster community integration.
Otis's journey is one of many success stories here at MBIC, where we combine rehabilitation with fun and functional tasks. This approach not only supports our members' recovery but also encourages their active participation in a supportive community environment.
