She, along with other team members, had the incredible opportunity to meet President Obama during his surprise visit yesterday afternoon. Ardmore Roderick participated in the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) Chicago Chapter's 2024 Scholarship Fundraising Golf Outing. The outing was to raise funds for students looking to pursue a career in the Energy industry.

Ardmore Roderick is excited to introduce Emeka Okafor as Vice President of Energy and Utilities! Emeka brings nearly two decades of expertise in the energy and utility sector, having held key leadership positions in distribution engineering, operations, vegetation, and asset management. Emeka’s passion for creating and embracing initiatives that enable more equitable opportunities for people to drive success for our clients and our communities aligns with Ardmore Roderick's mission. Emeka will play a key role in Ardmore Roderick’s growth strategy in the Energy & Utilities markets.

Ardmore Roderick participated in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge in Chicago! Participants walked or ran the 5k alongside team members for a night of exercise, food, and fun!

TBT to Summer 2023 at Ardmore Roderick!

Intern Gracie Wallace worked alongside our Buildings & Facilities group at the Obama Presidential Center. The Joint Venture of Ardmore Roderick and Clayco currently serves as the Program Manager for the Obama Presidential Center. The world-class museum is quickly taking shape as a new landmark for Chicago and plans to open in 2025.

Ardmore Roderick is looking forward to welcoming our Class of 2024 Summer Interns next week, as they join us for more exciting projects!

The WSP & Ardmore Roderick joint venture, Congress Corridor Partners, recently won the CMAA Chicago chapter awards for Best Project for the CTA improvement program on the Congress Branch of the Blue Line, also known as the Forest Park Branch Rebuild. Congratulations to the Congress Corridor Partners team!

This week our made it all the way to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! If you look closely, you can even see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Christ the Redeemer. Perfect change in scenery!

It's Construction Safety Week! At Ardmore Roderick we value safety on project sites AND in the office to ensure everyone returns home safely every day.

Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! This month we celebrate the history and culture of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Ardmore Roderick recognizes the importance of spreading awareness and improving understanding of mental health.

Over the weekend, Ardmore Roderick (AR) team members volunteered with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago to work on repairs at Ms. Bertha Gee's home in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. AR's Curtis Florence has been volunteering with the program since 2005 and has been a board member of the Organization for 2 years. Curtis led the AR team to complete WARM-SAFE-DRY repairs on Ms. Gee's home!

Every year, on April 28, the nation recognizes Workers' Memorial Day. On this day we pay our respects to those who lost their lives on the job and recognize the impact these tragic losses have on families, co-workers, and communities.

The Ardmore Roderick team attended the American Association of Blacks in Energy’s (AABE) 47th Annual National Conference in Anaheim California.

Ardmore Roderick’s marketing team is attending the SMPS Heartland Regional Conference in Indianapolis. It's always good to connect, mingle, and learn with some of the best in the industry!

This week, Ardmore Roderick team members Eric Jimenez, Lori Beth Wilson, Aksa Pena, David Decator, and Lynda Bogus volunteered with the 5th grade students at Hungerford Elementary School for our last workshop of the school year! Volunteers provided a small sampling of careers in Transportation Engineering, Quality Control & Testing, Rail and Transit, Space Planning, Architecture, and Project Management to introduce the students to the many opportunities available to them in STEM!
