I had the privilege of leading the most beautiful group of women through a yoga and mediation class for a friend’s birthday this morning. The power of movement in nature coupled with fierce love and community is simply unstoppable. 🧘‍♀️

Lake Michigan smelled like a summer breeze. The sounds of the birds were so peaceful. The cyclists and runners, walkers and dogs, were all in thorough motion. The North Shore was in full bloom. A summer Sunday morning blessing, indeed. 🦋💐

I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to share myself in this way, let’s do it again soon!

I’m thrilled to announce that after a 5 year hiatus of not teaching public yoga classes, I’ll be back on a schedule again later this month. I took that time to build my real estate business, travel and do some deep introspective work on myself. I feel so ready and so elated to share this practice again.

We never really know where this beautiful road of life will take us, my yoga practice is and always has been a steady constant that leads me back home. Essentially, we’re all just walking each other home. 🤍

Some overall health and wellness thought prompts as we enter the new year and resolution season. I think it’s important to understand that our health is a personal journey, it’s our responsibility to make an effort to understand what works best for us as individuals. To take what we know about nutrition, supplements, movement, rest and hydration to discover what works best for ourselves and our household. There is no one formula, the good news is that there are a plethora of tools and resources out there to help us learn and grow. So many people and programs are available for us and many are for free. We are all unique and what works for some, may not for others. Also, what works may change over time. It’s a great time of year to check in.

Take it back to the basics, eat well, move your body, sleep well and drink water. Oh and never undervalue yourself.

We must learn to be interested in and decide to take action on learning about ourselves, so we can advocate for ourselves!
