✨Healing with hair extensions✨

My guest has a disorder called trichotillmania. This A disorder that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out body hair. 1-2 of 50 people suffer from this disorder.

My guest can in wanting to take her life back and gain confidence and heal her hair. So I created this customized hybrid install just for her.

Using off black/ mocha cream in 16” flex wefts and 16” k-tips, texture straight. I permed them to match her natural curl pattern. ( FYI if your perming be sure you know what your doing any chemical alterations will void the warranty).

I decided on wefts because they are full cover and hid her natural hair which makes it a lot harder for her to pull her natural hair. I added the K-tips to the crown in order to blend out the thinning hair.

I am so proud that she is on the path of healing. Extensions didn’t solve the problem however it helps in so many ways.

✨ Grateful for this past year. ✨

As 2023 is comming to a close I am in reflection mode. I set an intention at the beginning of 2023. That Intention was one word FREEDOM. At the beginning of the year there was things about my life that I felt a slave too and wanted to release them this year.

Ask and you shall recieve…. Let go of the outcome and be joyous during the process.

2023 has humbled me, I release so many things that were keeping me captive, and it turned my life upside down in order to rebuild it on a strong foundation.

Through it all I smiled, laughed, shed some tears. Losing a lot only to gain myself and leveling up along the way. I am grateful that my faith out weighs my doubts and fears. I am grateful for all the hard lessons I have learned this year. I am grateful for staying strong and keeping an attitude of gratitude.

When i say trust the vision and all will work itself out I am a testament to that.

✨ Brush your extensions!

🖤 You should be brushing minimal 2 times per day.
🖤 Make sure your parting your rows and gently brushing your natural hair.

✨ Sleep with a satin pillowcase and bonnet.

💥 Let’s Chat… Traction alopecia 💥

⚡️This beautiful guest came to me for an emergency install. Unfortunately she had a bad experience with a stylist she was suppose to go to for a 360 degree wig install however nothing happeneds by mistake and she landed in the right place! The first two photos are traction alopicia. This developed because of years of wearing clip in extensions. Now clip-in are great for a night out and to pop in and out for limited wear. They are not ment to be used for years on end and keeping them in without taking them out.

⚡️ I am just so happy she found me. Why because although i know how to make wigs, install lace frontals, they are purely a trend and not great for the health of your hair. In my opinion I see them like clip ins they should be a take on and off thing and not a lifestyle unless you have some serious thinning issues. I say all this not to bash any stylist or technique but to educate everyone that extensions are not a one size fits all thing. It’s so important when choosing your extension specialist they know multiple techniques, take classes consistently, have certification in the methods they are delivering. ✅

⚡️ I was able to educate this doll on hair extensions and provide her with her first set of professional installed extensions. Although she had been wearing clip ins and wigs for 15 years 😱.

⚡️”Trust over Trend” Is the WBR way! and this post is why. Yes extensions can damage your hair if they are improperly installed. With it is a safe and secure foundation. Density must match density when installing any extension service.

⚡️ My 15 plus years doing extensions and when i see this it breaks my heart. My Goal is to provide the Best, highest quality service to each individual guest. I want all my guest to have their natural hair when they are in their 90’s.
