Yes, we have gorgeous locally grown flowers! Where do they come from you ask!?! These flowers are grown right here in Chicago, in my(Sarah) backyard! The dahlias are starting to come into season along with lots of unique milkweed pods, echinacea, queen Ann’s lace, sedum, calendula and sunflowers. Are you a backyard gardener too? Stop by the shop sometime, I love talking about gardening and sharing tips and tricks 🌻

The Dog Days of summer are well and truly here. Personally, I (Kate), live for the hot sunny days and so do most of the gorgeous seasonal summer flowers. Echinacea, Black Eyed Susan (Rudebekia), Lisianthus (Eustoma), Sunflowers, Marigolds, Cosmos, Queens Anne’s Lace, Sedum - the list goes on and many are showing their glorious petalled faces in gardens and street plantings around Chicago.
