Temp: Thrives in warm temperatures, ideally between 70-85°F (21-29°C).
Humidity: Moderate humidity levels are suitable.
Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season.
These charming sunflowers add a cheerful and cozy touch to any garden or floral arrangement!

This tick has been on display for us to show people for a while. After months in a sealed container without any additional feeding, she laid eggs. This demonstrates how long a tick can remain dormant and how many eggs one female can lay. Remember, ticks become active again in the fall, so continue with preventive measures.

If you encounter a small pile of jelly-like balls in your garden, act immediately! These are tick eggs and they're set to hatch soon.

Either set them on fire or destroy them by soaking in isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to wear gloves if you handle the nest, as it contains hundreds of tick eggs that will hatch in a few weeks. I believe it's important to share this post because tick bites can be dangerous.

This is my sweetest neighbor who is 94 years old along with my 2 year old son doing summer garden project. What a joy to teach and pass on! Sharing gardening from one generation to another is a favorite subject of her. She has been an inspiration to me. She is a multi talented woman, who would work rather than sleep. She loves gardening, painting, knitting, quilting, baking, etc. From spring to winter….that is where you would find her….out in the gardens…all winter she would look at garden books and dream of what she wanted to change the next spring!!! I always cherish the moments we spend together in her garden. Wishing her health and so much happiness!!! Here's hoping that a little encouragement goes a long way!!! ☺️🩷🌸🌞🦋🇨🇦
