The CBEA is proud to be hosting The Homestand Classic at Curtis Granderson Field at UIC & St. Ignatius Academy Fields. We are excited to have a total of 16 teams for this 16U tournament from June 20th-23rd. We cannot wait to see some of Chicago’s very own Top High School Prospects and what they are capable of

The Grandyman Youth Tournament Series is designed to offer a big tournament experience to community-based recreational teams, such as house league all-star teams and part-time travel teams connected to house leagues. This year's tournament is organized in three divisions — including softball and baseball -- and is invitation-only. Leagues and organizations may complete the questionnaire link to express interest in receiving an invitation to enter.

Grandyman leads the way at the East / West Classic in Cooperstown yesterday.

To celebrate the Negro Leagues All Star Game and the new exhibit that is opening at the National of Fame, some of the best black baseball players in MLB history, including your own President and Founder, took the field to honor those that came before them. We are all so proud of you Curtis!!!

Some great softball was played at UIC Flames Softball , Flames Field, by these girls to a full house of fans. A special shout out goes to Cubs Charities for their support to help CBEA host this spectacular event at a NCAA D1 field on a college campus at UIC. A bucket list, life experience for all who stepped on the field.

Happy Mothers Day to all the amazing Mom's out there.

A mom is great in so many ways. A is a step above. They have watched thousands of games in the sleeting rain and blistering heat, nursed physical and emotional wounds of their sons, drove around in the middle of the night...in the middle of nowhere....looking for leather strings to fix a blown out glove and did it all with unconditional love 😍.

Today, UIC Baseball celebrated all mom's...especially the ones of our senior players. Thank you for your love and dedication. And thank you to Mariano's for their generous support of CBEA's Mother's Day Brunch at Curtis Granderson Stadium, that is celebrating its 10 Year Anniversary this weekend!
